52 Christmas Card Throwdown Sketch

Hi everyone!  Today's 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge is a sketch and as many of you know sketch challenges are my very favorite challenges so join us this week and play along with this awesome sketch!  Here's a pic of the sketch-

My card was super easy to make and it didn't take much time to finish it.  I used an older, retired Stampin' Up! stamp set called 'The Chill of Winter'. and all I really did was stamp my image and sentiment and then I colored them using my SU markers.  I added some dazzling diamonds glitter for the snow and I also added some silver cording toward the bottom of my card and I tied it off with a small bow.  (The silver cording is from SU, but it's been retired for awhile now and I'm glad I still have some left.

The background on my card was dry embossed using my big shot and petals-a-plenty embossing folder and using my cherry cobbler marker I decided to color in the flower centers just by using a small dot from the marker and that was it!  Real quick and easy to do!  Thank you for stopping by.  Make it a great day!

Stamps:  The Chill of Winter
Card Stock:  White, Cherry Cobbler
Ink:  Black Stazon
Supplies:  Big Shot, Petals-a-plenty Embossing Folder, Silver Cording, SU Dazzling Diamonds, 2 Way Glue Pen, SU Markers, Dimensionals
Technique:  Dry Embossing
